Particle Velocity Sensor
|
Unlike traditional sound intensity probes that calculate particle velocity from two sound pressure microphones, the Microflown sensors measure particle velocity directly. The output is an analog signal proportional to particle velocity that can be analyzed with common signal analyzers or even listened to. The sensors are available in a variety of configuration and sizes. The most popular being a probe with a sound pressure microphone added. The analog outputs can be analyzed separately or multiplied to calculate intensity.
